An Unexpected Harvest by Cat Andrews

An Unexpected Harvest by Cat Andrews is here!

In this modern Pride and Prejudice variation, Cat's pulled a switcheroo--instead of Darcy being the rich snobby one, it's Elizabeth who is, while he's the poor judgy one. She's a city girl heading back to her hometown in the Berkshires to visit her sister, and he's a country boy who's bringing back the family farm (Pemberley) from the brink of disaster. Bad first impressions ensue, as does undeniable attraction. This switch is such an illuminating way to demonstrate how much in common canon Darcy and Elizabeth have and why they always work so well together.

One of the reasons why Cat is one of my favourite JAFF writers is her ability to make everyday life for her characters feel real and engaging for the readers. The characters' personalities, their connections to each other, their world all come to life so vividly through Cat's words. Her books are always an immersive experience--and always long so you can really get into the world and stay there for a while. (You will be sad to leave, I promise!)
